ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Wrestling Nova Scotia (WNS) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 8, 2025 at 11:00AM. The meeting will take place at Sport Nova Scotia (5516 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS) in the 3rd floor Classroom. Attendees are also welcome to join virtually—with cameras on.
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our leadership team. Several positions on the Board of Directors are open for election, and we encourage members of the wrestling community to consider getting involved.
Available Positions
The following positions are open for nomination:
- Treasurer – 2-year term (Information PDF)
- Secretary – 2-year term (Information PDF)
- Excellence Director – 2-year term (Information PDF)
- Participation Director – 2-year term (Information PDF)
- NEW: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility (EDIA) Director – 1-year term (Information PDF)

Nomination Process
You CAN nominate yourself!
We do not accept nominations within 10 days of the AGM, including nominations from the floor during the meeting.To apply for a position on the Wrestling NS Board of Directors:

Submit your nomination by May 29, 2025 at 11:59PM.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a member in good standing with Wrestling NS
- Must meet the qualifications outlined in the Roles & Responsibilities Documents.
- Anyone attending the AGM in any capacity must register using the [Registration Form]. If you’re nominating yourself, make sure to register too!
